The professional practice courses clinical placements that you will be required to complete, are generally offered in Edmonton or Calgary. Placements are offered at various times of the year, and we endeavour to give as much notice as possible as to when and where the clinical placement will be held.
NURS 401 and NURS 437 each require 4 weeks (140 hrs) of full-time clinical practice in Alberta. NURS 435 is a paced, online course with mandatory, real-time, synchronous learning opportunities and assignments. NURS 441 (a minimum 10 week full-time, 370 hrs) required preceptorship experience.
